Princess Ellie and the Two Friends

Once upon a time there lived a lovely princess. Her name was Princess Ellie. She lived in a very big castle. Her mother was a beautiful queen. The queen had a beautiful gold tiara and it had sparkling jewels all around it. And of course, Princess Ellie had a father, and he wore a long cloak. And it had a bunch of sparkling red things all over it. And Princess Ellie had some sisters. But she doesn't really want to talk about them right now. Okay, so lets start the story!

One day Princess Ellie was walking in the woods in her garden, because her garden is VERY big. Then all of a sudden, her sister came and said, "Princess Ellie it's time for lunch!" Princess Ellie said, "One minute, tell mother I will be there in one minute!" And then she walked out of the forest, picked a few flowers, and headed to lunch. And princess Ellie said, "What's for lunch mother and father?" Well, her mother said, "Today we are having sandwiches." Princess Ellie had friends that lived in the castle with her. She said, "Can I eat lunch fast so that then I can play with my friends?" Her father said, "Well, if you're gonna eat fast you're gonna have to eat politely too." So she ate her lunch really fast. Then she went downstairs to where her friends lived. She said, "Hello friends, can I play?" They said, "Well uhmm ... we just started to eat lunch." Well then Princess Ellie said, "Well then when you're done can you play with me?" Her friends said, "Sure."

So, as soon as her friends were finished, Princess Ellie said, "Come on lets go and walk in the woods and pick some berries." The friends said, "What are we waiting for, lets go!" So all of the three friends went into the forest and started picking berries. As soon as they said, "I have enough berries.", they went back inside and they counted up all of the berries they had picked. Princess Ellie said, "What do you wanna do next?" And the friend said, "Well, I kinda want to - SLEEP!" Princess Ellie said, "Okay, I'm kinda tired too." So the three friends took a nap.

When they woke up, Princess Ellie said, "What do you wanna do now?" And they said, "Well, I think its time to have dinner." Princess Ellie said, "If you go downstairs ask your parents if you can stay upstairs with me tonight, then would you eat dinner with me?" The friends said, "Of course we will eat dinner with you. We won't stay up here for no reason." Well then Princess Ellie said, "It is time to head to the table!" And then they all went to the table, and the the two friends asked, "What is for dinner?" Well Princess Ellie's father said, "Uhm, I don't actually know." Then the friends said, "Uhm, then what do you think we are gonna have for dinner?" Princess Ellie's mother said, "I know EXACTLY what we are gonna have for dinner!" The friends said, "WHAT?" Princess Ellie's mother said, "It is a top secret!" The two friends said, "I don't like secrets!" Princess Ellie's mother said, "Well then you might want to go back downstairs." "No, I really want to stay up here with Princess Ellie" said the two friends. "Well then you're just gonna have to find out what dinner is", said Princess Ellie's mom. As soon as a flash, food came rushing out onto the tables. "Oh yummy its chicken", said the two friends. Then after they ate their tummies full of chicken, they all got on their pajamas and snored in bed, ZZZzzz ZZZzzz ZZZzzz.

Ellie's Trip to Iowa

I had this picture when I was in the airplane, it was the snowy moountains. And on the snowy mountains from the airplane it was awesome. You could see like almost everything from the airplane. It was kind of a long plane flight, but I didn't care. I had to change planes once, on the first trip, but on the second trip I stayed on the same plane - I just had to sit there a little, to wait til the plane started moving again.

When I was at Iowa, the first thing I did was to go to the Lewis and Clark monument. At the monument I took a couple pictures. The monument is just like a big thing, by a big tree thingee, like a little miniature forest or something, and at the end there is this big cliff with a beautiful view. And the Lewis and Clark monument has a bathroom and like a side for like each women and men.
When I went to see Albert the bull he kinda looked like a cow with long eyelashes, it kinda looked like a girl, Albert the bull needed some cleaning up - he needed a little work. It was near a park, I saw some kids swinging. And that's the story of Albert the bull.
I am reading to Brooke at my great great aunt Irma's. I wanted to show Brooke how good of a reader I was. It was "Little Bear Goes to Visit", and Brooke was very impressed, but she just had to help me with a little bit of words.
Me and Brooke have our picture tooken from in the museum of Danish art and stuff, but its kind of tiny. They had some Lego's at the museum, me and Brooke were in the gift shop.
I am at the first Jesse James train track robbery. Site of the first train robbery in the west, committed by the notorious Jesse James and his gang of outlaws. July 21, 1873, long time ago!
I saw a big pig, it was very big, almost as big as me. Dwayne was behind the fence with the pig.
This is me on the gate in front of some cows. The cows are big cows, I am not sure if they are girls or boys, but they are definitely big cows.
Spike is my favorite puppy-dog, and when I play with Spike he doesn't run and jump on me, he only does it once on a person. And, he has this weird thingee that, its like a bone kinda, and it is like a triangle shape, and grandma thought it was weird, and it was weird.
I was in front of a John Deere, it was an awesome John Deere, I never such a big John Deere, it was an awesome, I got to go in it in another picture. It had huge wheels you can see, I look very tiny you can see - the end.
I am in front of this cow statue on a hill, with a cow and a calf, and I think the cow is a mom. But I am not sure. And, I think that is about it because I don't know anything like, uh, anymore about the statue, cause I have never been to Iowa so I haven't seen it, and I haven't heard anything about it, so that's it.
These are some guinea hens, and the guinea hens are in the road, and they are very quiet, and when grandma was trying to take a picture, a dog was barking like arf-arf and wouldn't stop.
This is a picture with a turkey, the turkey is big, with its feathers spread open it was awesome. I wish you all were here to see it. It was a noisy, gobble-gobble-gobble.
I took this picture, and in the back row - the first person is Bill Hawkes (is one of my grandpas, and he took me to Iowa), the next person is Harriet (and Harriet is my great aunt, and she is a very nice woman), the next person is Franklin (Franklin is my great uncle, and he has five kids), the next person is grandma Hawkes (and grandma Hawkes is the girl who too me to Iowa also, and they are very nice people), and then the next person in the front is Dwayne (the youngest kid of Franklin's, he's 17, and he is a very naughty boy sometimes), and next is Spike (Spike is a guy who is very kind).
This is me and Spike on the grass in front of Franklin's farm. Spike is laying down.
This is a picture of a high water. And in the high water, it is surrounding a little blue house, so the car can't can drive out anywhere.
This picture of the tree is an awesome part of wind. The wind cracked the tree, isn't that awesome? I wish you were all there to see it - the end.
I had a lot of fun in Iowa. I wanna go again, and I miss my cousins Brooke and Dwayne. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for taking me to Iowa.

Can you take me again?

My vacation in Iowa

When I was at the airport I got a couple things. I went to a farm in Iowa that had a gobbling, gobbling, gobbling turkey. The turkey was about 5 or 6 years old. And at the farm there was some pigeons, and some doves also. Franklin, who owned the farm, he was being funny to me, giving me jokes - and saying, "You want to take home a pigeon?" There was some little calfs, and calfs are little cows. And one calf was only 4 days old. I went to see some cows that were getting milked, at my cousin's grandma's farm. I like the big pigs, because when I said, "Hey big guys!", all the pigs fighted, because they thought I was going to give them some food.

The Magic Show Assembly

Today we saw an assembly in the multipurpose room. It was a magic show. There was this puppet that was like Pinoochio, but it was called Ducky. And Ducky got asked to sing a song, but Ducky always said, "Ugh" - and *cough* "Like a cough". And then he started singing "Old MacDonald had a farm ... had some dirt", and then the magician said, "Come on sing it right!". And then Ducky whispered, "Animals." to all the school. And then Ducky said, "Old MacDonald had some flies ...", and then the magician said, "Come on, I am gonna put you back in the box unless you sing it right." And then there was a different part where there was a thing shaped like a triangle and the magician casted a shadow over the triangle, and snapped his fingers, and said some fancy words, and then after that he pulled out a blackcloth made from worms, and then he pulled out a couple other colors, and then he pulled out two dirty oily cloths.

And then in a different part he had this big drawing board, ["this is one of my favorite parts"], he was drawing some person with everybody's eyes and hairs and stuff, and then - when he wasn't looking the eyeballs would move up and down and side to side and stuff. And then he would look at it, and say, "Nope huh, they're not moving.". And then he put a nose, and he put some ears, and when he didn't have ears - the picture of the person, he kept saying "Huh, huh- huh" when the magician was talking. And then he put on some ears, so he could hear when the magician was talking, and then he put on a mouth, and then after that he put on some earrings, on the ears, diamond shaped earrings. Then he got a mustache, and then he got a pearl necklace. And after he got the pearl necklace, and then he got some curls, and he said "Hey what are you doing to me, I don't like curls, I don't like pearl necklaces or the earrings."

And then there was this different part that I liked also, there was this white balloon that the magician blew up. And the magician made it into a little bunny rabbit. And then after that, he chose somebody to go up to the top, before all of the classes, Tolula was the one to be choosen (Emerson's sister), she holded all these big magic wands under her chin and armpits and in her hands and it was all over her, and then she took this long stick that can pop balloons, and she popped the balloon. And it turned into a little bunny. The bunny was so cute, it had some white and black, it was so cute.

And there was another part when one of the cloths got cleaned, the magician took this type of thing and he said, casted a shadow, snapped, and said some magic words, and they made it into a real live white little dove!

That is the end of my story.
